Jocelyn Frye is President of the National Partnership for Women & Families-a policymaking and legal advocacy organization which works to advance health and economic justice, women's and civil rights, and racial and gender equity. Prior to her current role, Jocelyn worked as a Senior Fellow, helping to build the Women's Initiative at the Center for American Progress (CAP), a leading progressive think tank in the United States. Her issue portfolio included pay equity, paid family leave and care supports, gender-based employment discrimination, and women's economic security. Before CAP, Jocelyn served in the Obama White House as a deputy assistant to the President for policy and director of policy for the First Lady, where she oversaw the First Lady's broad policy portfolio and worked on gender equity and work-family policy issues. Jocelyn received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her undergrad degree from the University of Michigan.
