Juana Rey

Juana Rey is an Undergraduate Student in Journalism and Communications at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) in Buenos Aires. She is particularly interested in politics, economics, cultural phenomena and issues that are often overlooked by traditional media. Recently, she joined the Student Center of UCA’s Faculty of Social Sciences, where she helps represent student perspectives and organize extracurricular initiatives, including visits to media institutions and conversations with journalists and industry experts. In 2025, she completed an internship in the Digital Content Department at Radio Mitre, one of Argentina’s leading radio stations, where she wrote breaking news articles on the national and international agenda, identified trending topics, and contributed to the organization's digital content strategy. Through her academic and professional experiences, Juana seeks to deepen her understanding of journalism’s role in an evolving media landscape and to explore new ways of telling stories that inform and engage audiences.
