Jeremy Silvester is the director of the Museums Association of Namibia (MAN), an organization that supports regional museum development in Namibia, and has worked there since 2005. MAN has produced a mobile exhibition entitled "The Namibian Genocide: 'Learning from The Past'," which will circulate Namibia. Jeremy is the chair of the Africa Accessioned project, which has been conducting research on Namibian collections housed in museums in Finland, Germany, Sweden, and the U.K. Before his time at MAN, Jeremy was as a lecturer for the history department at the University of Namibia for eight years. His publications include Words Cannot Be Found, an annotated reprint of the Blue Book of 1918, which contains statements from African witnesses describing the Namibian Genocide during the German colonial period.
