Jana Barakat is a multimedia journalism student at the Lebanese American University in Lebanon. She is currently a writer for the communication arts department's magazine, to which she has contributed four articles. She has participated in a conference held by URDA, which is an NGO that helps Syrian refugees in Lebanon, by posting news on Twitter about the conference and its panels. She has also volunteered in a competition made by the Samir Kassir Foundation, which selects the top investigative articles and documentaries. She is interested in investigative and broadcast journalism, and always tries to seek the truth and reality.
