James Cox is an education policy & advocacy expert with over 15 years of experience campaigning for the Right to a quality, safe, inclusive education for every child, and founder of Public Goods, and Director of SDG4.net. Before this, he was Save the Children’s Global Head of Education Policy & Advocacy for 6 years, leading Save the Children's global education policy and advocacy policy across the movement of over 100 countries, and Head of Global Education Advocacy at Theirworld. Globally, this has mobilised hundreds of millions of dollars for multilateral education funds, and secured the creation of new and innovative financing mechanisms including Education Cannot Wait and The International Finance Facility for Education. Nationally, this includes influencing Holistic Education Reforms in Colombia, Kenya, and South Africa, and supporting Ministries to make Education Systems more Climate Resilient in partnership with the Green Climate Fund and the Global Partnership for Education.
