Jake Colvin is vice president for global trade issues at the National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC), a business association that promotes an open, rules-based global economy on behalf of member companies including Boeing, Caterpillar, General Electric, Google, Microsoft and Procter & Gamble. He is also a fellow with the New Ideas Fund, a group that supports progressive approaches to U.S. national security and foreign policy. Mr. Colvin has written about economic and foreign policy issues for outlets including Business Week, Chicago Tribune, Forbes, Miami Herald and Comedy Central. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the University of Richmond.
