Ibrahima Sonko is a medical epidemiologist at the Public Health Emergency Operations Center in Senegal. Previously he worked for 3 years as a chief medical officer of a Health District in the southern region of Senegal. He has experience of surveillance activities and outbreaks management and he is one of the frontline FETP trainers in Senegal. In 2017 he participated in CDC's Public Health Emergency Management Fellowship in Atlanta, learning from experts in emergency management, developing systems to implement in Senegal's Public Health EOC. He obtained a Master in Public Health (FETP) at the University of Ouagadougou and has a doctorate in Medicine.
