Huma Mursaleen is a Senior Engineer at OTSL, Japan. Working within Japan's advanced automotive and technology ecosystem, she leads initiatives on automotive software management systems, new business incubation strategies, and process innovation through artificial intelligence (AI). Her work focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and advancing digital transformation across automotive and industrial domains, combining technical expertise with sustainability-driven thinking. Earlier, Huma worked with the United Nations University Japan as a research assistant for the African Development Bank's MBA Promotion in Africa Project (2017-2018) and contributed to the evaluation of sustainability-integrated MBA curricula at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in collaboration with the University of Tokyo (2016). She also served as a project evaluator at the Emergency Humanitarian Aid Department of World Vision Japan (2018-2020). Holding a doctorate in Sustainability Science from the University of Tokyo under the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) fellowship, her research explored identity transformation and social sustainability. Her professional interests focus on advancing sustainable transformation through innovative social and business strategies, responsible integration of advanced technologies, and human-centered capacity development across technical and educational systems.
