Himanshu is currently working as a Director with NITI Aayog, a premier Govt. of India thinktank, in the Federal Innovation & Entrepreneurship Mission tasked by the Govt of India to build the grassroots startup ecosystem in India. In his current role he leds multiple programs including setting up of State Innovation Mission (SIM), International Bilaterial Strategic programs and new grant-in aid program on Language Inclusivity. Himanshu is a strategic thought leader with 17+ years of combined experience across Public Policy, Strategy Consulting, Industry, and Startup ecosystem. In the past, he has led multiple engagements managing critical C-Suite relationships with P&L accountability across experience, digital transformation, go-to-market strategy, program management, change management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and rural marketing. As a senior director at Accenture, he worked at the intersection of technology and analytics and scaled a pre-series A funded startup in insure-tech / health-tech from scratch. Himanshu completed his MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and has obtained a strategy certification from INSEAD. Himanshu is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
