Heather Laychack has an academic and professional background in counseling psychology and over 20 years of experience in human resources in both for profit and nonprofit companies across multiple industries including aerospace and defense, academia, retail, entertainment and healthcare. She is currently the vice president and chief people officer at The Aerospace Corporation, an independent, nonprofit corporation operating the only Federally Funded Research & Development Center for national security in space that performs objective technical analyses and assessments for a variety of government, civil, and commercial customers. Prior to The Aerospace Corporation, Heather led HR leadership positions at Mattel Inc, Northrop Grumman, and Robert Morris University. She currently serves on the board of directors at ANSER Corp and El Segundo Economic Development Council. Her previous board positions include the National Kidney Foundation California Chapter and American Red Cross Auxiliary Board, Chicago chapter where she was a founding member. Heather recently contributed to a published book on leading transformational change.
