Grace Rebecca Sumner

Founder
Grace is the current founder of the Women's Inclusion Health Collective, UK- a network focusing on the health needs of underserved women from an intersectional feminist perspective, rooted in principles of social justice. She focuses on the unmet health needs of homeless women, those who use drugs, female offenders, Gypsy Travellers, asylum seekers and refugees, and sex workers. Grace uses her personal experiences of sex work, drug use and homelessness to inform her professional practice, particularly from systems change and public health perspectives. Fundamentally, Grace believes it is imperative that the community is involved as stakeholders in its own healthcare. Prior to founding the collective, Grace worked with female offenders and was the former national lead for homeless and street-based sex workers at National Ugly Mugs- an anti-violence reporting charity.
