Gerben van Lent is the executive director for Knowledge Management, Market Support and Governance at ETS Global. He has presented or conducted workshops at international assessment conferences and for potential clients about quality assurance, large scale assessments and assessment and technology issues. He has contributed articles to journals in the field of education and measurement. He is an external member of the Research Committee of AQA in the UK. He holds a master's degree from Leiden University, with a major in mathematics and minors in economics and teaching. He is a Fellow of both previous meetings for Optimizing Talent: Closing Educational and Social Mobility Gaps Worldwide.
