Gabriela Aidar has been coordinator of the sociocultural inclusion program of the education department of the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo since 2002, where she is in charge of running continuous educational projects involving socially vulnerable groups, and training social workers. She has worked in the capacity of researcher in several institutions including the National Association of History, Itaucultural and the Laboratory of Public Policy of Rio de Janeiro State University. Ms. Aidar was co-author of the educational project Views of Brazil, Brasiliana Collection/Estudar Foundation at the Pinacoteca do Estado, and coordinator of the educational action of the accompanying exhibition which showed from 2003 to 2005 at the Pinacoteca. She has worked as consultant on the educational project Centro-Periferia (Downtown-Outskirts) of the 27th Biennial of São Paulo, and helped run projects at the Museum-Community Program of the education department of the Lasar Segall Museum. Gabriela Aidar received an M.A. degree in Museum Studies from Leicester University in England, with revalidation by the Masters Program in Museology of the Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO).
