Expert Consultant, Janze and Janze, Germany

Farina Owusu is an expert consultant at Janze and Janze working at the intersection of digital governance, public policy and institutional reform. Farina’s work centers on diversity in policy and inclusive digital governance. She is the co-author of a book on discrimination-sensitive language in public administration and contributed to a white paper on gender-inclusive digital service design, and worked on questions of interoperability, safeguards and how to introduce innovation into public systems responsibly. With a background in political science, she aims to bridge implementation experience and European policy debates on equitable digital transformation, focusing on how governments can design inclusive, people-centered digital public services that strengthen democratic accountability. Her professional experience spans from consulting the public sector on digital strategy, formerly at PwC and now at Janze and Janze, to project management in a multi-stakeholder initiative on digital public infrastructure at GIZ.
