Evelina Dimitrova is part of the board and chairman of the marketing department at Roden Dvor, a non-governmental organization in her home village, where she is working to engage and change the thinking of the population to be an active civil society. Moreover, Evelina is currently part of a project of the Council of Ministers related to Roma integration and facilitation at the local level. She is a second-year student at the University of National and World Economy, majoring in administration and management and will start working in one of the best Bulgarian logistics companies on October 2021. She comes from a Roma family in the village of Galiche and is interested and engaged in a wide range of activities, starting with human rights and freedoms, going through art, folklore, psychology, politics and reaching non-governmental assets directed to Northwestern Bulgaria and in particular the village of Galiche. Over the years, Evelina has worked at the ARETE Youth Foundation - a Roma foundation that motivates students to continue their education and development. She has participated in the International Award of the Duke of Edinburgh which offered her opportunities for personal development and growth, by stepping out of her comfort zone.
