Emma is a Wolastoqey curator, educator, and visual artist from Nequtkok (Tobique First Nation), New Brunswick, Canada. She is the former curatorial intern at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton, an instructor in the Indigenous Visual Arts Program at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, and she maintains a visual art practice. Emma graduated from Mount Allison University with a bachelor of fine arts in 2017. Her work explores the term "legislative identity" -specifically, how the Indian Act has influence over the identities of Indigenous Peoples in Canada- as well as her own identity as a Wolastoqey woman.
