Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ella started helping to create and maintain shelters for IDPs, to organize their life in the communities on the level of villages and towns in more than 6 oblasts of Ukraine. She also planned and organized training and psychological support for women and children, both IDPs and from the hosting communities. Ella's main focus has been since then on people staying and living in villages. For more than 20 years, she has been working in the NGO sector on implementing and managing social policy activities in cooperation with the government and NGOs in the sphere of effective Ukrainian legislation gender policies, and prevention of violence and human trafficking. She is experienced in advocacy campaigns on women's rights and gender policy and WPS agenda (UN SC Resolution 1325). Ella is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
