Edith Rigler is senior consultant at the Payments Advisory Group, an international consultancy. She has extensive transaction banking experience as an executive with global banks in the US, UK, Switzerland and Germany. Recent assignments include training and advising global financial institutions on subjects such as Basel III liquidity regulation, the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), data protection, virtual currencies, and global payments and banking regulation. Ms. Rigler writes frequently for the industry, trade, and financial press. She holds a Ph.D. in economic and social sciences from the University of Vienna and a degree in international management from New York´s University Graduate School of Business in the US.
