Douglas Elliott is partner at Oliver Wyman. He focuses on the intersection of public policy and finance, especially financial regulation. He has twice been a visiting scholar at the IMF, a financial institutions investment banker for two decades, mostly at JP Morgan, then a think tanker for a decade, mostly at the Brookings Institution. At Oliver Wyman, Douglas primarily plays a think tank role, focused on the key public policy issues in finance. He writes, speaks, and has hundreds of one-on-one meetings each year on these topics. He is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
