Dhiraj Santdasani is a technical adviser at C40 Cities, based in India, and leading the delivery of the Global Methane Hub project and contributing to the expansion of C40's climate action work in the region. Before joining C40, Dhiraj served as an associate at NITI Aayog, the government's top policy-making institution headed by the Prime Minister of India, where he led flagship projects focused on the circular economy, climate-resilient urban development, urban finance, and other key areas. Dhiraj has represented India at various international forums including, World Youth Forum in Italy (2019, 2020), World Business Dialogue in Germany (2016), UNESCO Seoul Youth Forum (2015), and Russia Youth Forum (2014). Dhiraj holds a bachelor's in civil construction from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India and a master's in environmental engineering and project management from the University of Leeds, Leeds, UK, as a recipient of the Dean's International Scholarship.
