Denice Kronau was appointed chief diversity officer of Siemens AG in June 2010. She will continue to drive diversity topics such as the advancement of top talents, networks within Siemens and work-life balance issues. She previously was executive vice president and CFO of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, being responsible for corporate controlling, business administration, and financial analysis. Ms. Kronau joined Siemens in 2002 as president and CEO of Siemens Shared Services, LLC in the US and became head of Global Shared Services upon its inception in October 2006, with responsibility for formulating the ongoing vision and driving overall strategy for the organization. In November 2008, Ms. Kronau took on an additional role within Siemens by becoming CFO of Siemens Corporation and Cluster USA, while continuing to lead Global Shared Services. Prior to joining Siemens in 2002, Ms. Kronau had extensive international experience in finance, IT, shared services and audit at various multinational corporations, including Diageo, Kraft and Philip Morris. She worked overseas for 14 years in London, Munich, Paris and other cities. Ms. Kronau has a Board of Regents degree from West Virginia University with a concentration in computer science and business administration.
