Dr. McEvoy is an Associate Professor of Economics at Appalachian State University and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Public Finance at the University of Innsbruck. Dr. McEvoy's research is focused on the management of environmental and natural resources with a particular concentration on international environmental agreements. His research has been published in Environmental and Resource Economics, Oxford Economics Papers, Economics Letters, Public Choice, Land Economics, International Environmental Agreements: Politics Law and Economics and others. He is co-editor of "Toward a New Climate Agreement: Conflict, Resolution and Governance", a research volume on climate negotiations published by Routledge in 2014. Dr. McEvoy holds a Ph.D. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and an M.S. in Environmental and Resource Economics from University College London.
