Dareen Zayed is a Palestinian Israeli from East Jerusalem, currently pursuing a master’s in International Affairs and Environmental Technology in Vienna. She holds a dual BA in Communication, Journalism, and Comparative Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she facilitated intercultural dialogue circles between Jewish and Arab students. Her passion for inclusive education and diplomacy led her to work at the UAE Embassy in Tel Aviv, where she managed a scholarship program connecting Israeli and Emirati students and supported regional environmental initiatives. Dareen believes in the power of critical thinking, youth leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration to drive systemic change. As a member of OECD Youthwise 2025–2027, she advocates for bold, action-oriented education policies that elevate marginalized voices and foster global citizenship. Dareen is committed to building learning systems that empower young people to lead with empathy, equity, and purpose.
