Daniel Buss is the climate change and health advisor of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), based in Washington DC. He also manages PAHO's agenda of biodiversity, green spaces and their effects on human health - for countries and territories of the Americas. Before joining PAHO in 2016, Daniel has worked as a researcher in Brazil and other Latin American countries on environmental monitoring and assessment, water basin management, linkages between biodiversity and health, citizen science, among other topics. Daniel is a biologist, with a master degree in Ecology and a PhD in Public Health.
