Dalhatu Sulaiman Darazo is the chief of party for USAID-Addressing Education in Northeast Nigeria (AENN). He has extensive work experience in implementing education in crisis and conflict. He has worked in different capacities within Nigerian government circles and held different positions that impact on the lives of underserved communities and vulnerable groups, including as a social welfare officer, on education for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), as a state team leader, and deputy project director. He has an excellent understanding of Nigeria's education policy and expertise in education project design and implementation, child protection and vulnerable children programming, at the state Ministry level, and for USAID and UNICEF supported programmes.
