Chris Rees

Chris Rees is head of public affairs at Amazon UK, in London, where he leads the company's engagement with political and public policy stakeholders across the United Kingdom. Prior to Amazon, he served as director of Parliamentary Relations at BAE Systems, managing relationships with parliamentary and political audiences and advising on the UK political landscape. Chris’ earlier career includes working at public affairs consultancy Westbourne Communications and working in the House of Commons as a senior parliamentary assistant. He has 15 years' experience in public affairs, government relations, and policy across the technology, defense, and energy sectors. Chris obtained his M.A. in international relations and modern history from the University of St. Andrews, prior to studying for a M.Litt. in peace and conflict studies at the same university.
