Christian Gilde is a professor in the Business and Technology Department at the University of Montana Western. He conducts research in the areas of management, media marketing, and the sociology of organizations. His previous research translated into books on higher education and consumer over choice. His teaching interests include management, marketing, and leadership with an emphasis on a United States and global perspective. He serves as the managing editor for the Journal for Advancing Business Education. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Bath and his M.A. from Boston College. He is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
