Christian Gibbons is currently enrolled at Emerson College, where he is pursuing a B.A. in globalization studies, a self-designed program which combines communication studies, political science, ecology, economics, and philosophy with a forward-facing dedication to civic and international engagement. Christian's other academic interests include the protean, millennia-long history of the Mediterranean and foundational questions in metaethics and epistemology. He is originally from the United States, and would like to travel many times in his life. He speaks English and French, and can still read a little Spanish and Mandarin. In his free time, Christian enjoys wandering and writing poetry; otherwise, he works as a barista, and volunteers for educational initiatives. In the future, he would like to become a professor, and perhaps to work with the United Nations.
