Charly Pierre is the head chef and owner of Fritai in New Orleans, Louisiana. Fritai is a Haitian food establishment in the Saint Roch market. For four years, they have been cooking and feeding the community while bridging the connection between Haiti and New Orleans. While running Fritai, Charly has conducted and been involved in many community events. These events include "The Culture Talks." which creates a space for men to talk about uncomfortable topics but bring them in their comfort zones. These talks occur monthly, and gained a great following over the past year. Charly has bachelor's degree in restaurant management and culinary arts from The Southern New Hampshire University.
