Caroline is an international program manager with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). As part of her portfolio, she manages communications on adverse food events with foreign governments. Prior to joining FDA, Caroline was the food safety director for a non-governmental organization, the Center for Science in the Public Interest where she developed the first food outbreak database focused on food attribution for the US. She also studied informal outbreak reporting in other world regions. Caroline is a Salzburg Global Fellow.
