Bhavisha Sheth is a chief operating officer at the Technology Enabling Centre at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in Pilani, India. As a strong advocate for accessible and equitable science, Bhavisha has led impactful national policy studies and is dedicated to fostering innovation to tackle societal and industrial challenges worldwide. She combines academic excellence with strategic leadership and her research spans plant biotechnology, technology commercialization and entrepreneurship, STI policy and women entrepreneurship. Her doctorate thesis was awarded the "Best Life Sciences Ph.D. Thesis - 2016" in the state and she has many awards and accolades to her credit from reputed national and international agencies. Bhavisha is an elected fellow of the Linnean Society of London. She has authored over 20 publications in esteemed journals and presented her work on reputed international platforms. She holds a Ph.D. in plant biotechnology and postdoctoral expertise in science, technology, and innovation policy.
