Bhargav Padhiyar is a founder and design lead at Studio IF in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and he work as a new media designer, archaeologist, and computer engineer. His multidisciplinary area of work explores how modern digital technologies can enhance the preservation of diverse forms of cultural heritage and how knowledge of culture and heritage can inspire and humanize new digital innovations. Bhargav founded Studio IF, a transmedia experience design studio that functions in a collaborative spirit with communities and organizations to innovate for culture, social, and environmental impact. He brings experience of working with communities in urban and rural areas, museums, tourism, cultural and natural heritage, utilizing modern technologies such as Augmented and Virtual Reality, IoT, AI, and Gaming. Bhargav is also passionate about making design education in India more critical and impactful; he teaches at the Faculty of Design at CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India. Bhargav is an alumnus of the prestigious National Institute of Design, India, and the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, and a Chevening Scholar of Year 2022-23.
