Ashish Airon completed his master's in computer science in Artificial Intelligence from Oxford University, UK in 2015. Before beginning his entrepreneurial journey, he started his career in Germany as a researcher. His experience in Germany laid the foundation for his startup journey. After his stint in Germany as a Researcher, Ashish returned to the UK and established his startup MetaTensor in London, connecting researchers to solve AI problems. He later sold the company to start a new venture in India, seeing the exponential growth in the Indian economy. Starting off with a personal capital of just $10,000, he scaled Cognitensor, a provider of sustainable analytics, to a company valued at multiple millions of dollars, with investors including Shell and other prominent institutions. Ashish was recently selected for Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, and he is also a Mentor at 500 Startups, a Silicon Valley-based VC firm with over 3,000+ investments globally and HEC-Paris.
