Arvind Patil is a design professional with a focus on impact evaluation and economic development. He is the head of the design team at Good Business Lab in India, where he works on designing and implementing well-being programs for blue-collar workers. Arvind has a particular interest in the future of work, service design for social entrepreneurship, and using design for social good. He has developed a mobile phone-based grievance management service called Project Inache, which is currently used by over 100,000 garment factory workers across 40 factories. In addition to Project Inache, Arvind has led the development of the Return-on-Investment Tool (ROIT), which helps investors to project the return on investment for worker well-being programs. He also employs instructional design methodology to create soft skills enhancement curricula for factory workers, HR professionals, and factory management.
