Anthony Siu is a visiting assistant professor at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, Taiwan. He furthers his professional development in Cornell's School of Criticism and Theory and London Film Academy. His major interests are American studies, critical theories, and film studies. Methodologically, he is particularly excited about psychoanalysis and queer theories. He also writes and teaches comparative cultures and literatures. He was educated at University of Hong Kong for his undergraduate study and SUNY Buffalo for his doctorate. Upon obtaining his PhD in English from Buffalo, he has returned to Hong Kong to teach. Currently, he is interested in African American studies and is working on a project on Jenkins' film, Moonlight.
