Anne Perrocheau is a senior medical epidemiologist at the World Health Organization for the Emergency program. She is expert in outbreak investigations and surveillance of all health events with a current focus on outbreak detection in humanitarian contexts and remote settings. She focuses on preparing the world to face new health threats in relation with climate and environmental change, including the outbreak of emerging disease or global pandemics. She received a medical degree from Grenoble Medical School, France in 1990 and a master's degree in biostatistics in public health from Tulane University, New Orleans, USA in 1995.
