Andrea is a PhD Student in Digital Media at the Nova University Lisbon, Portugal. Her research explores the potential of the arts for media literacy education, the role of affect in digital culture and what being present means in a deeply mediatized world. She studied literature at the Alpe-Adria University Klagenfurt, Austria and Cultural Anthropology at the Goldsmiths University London, UK and was a freelance artist for over a decade.
