Amrutha Rathina Sampath is a scientist at the Technology Information Forecasting & Assessment Council, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. 'Amrutha's research is in microwave engineering, focusing on designing fractal antennas and smart antennas in 5G midband applications. She has worked as an assistant professor and an intellectual property analyst at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT MADRAS). Amrutha is a registered Indian patent agent who has obtained intellectual property rights training from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. She has drafted several patent applications and is a trainer in 'India's National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM).
