Amani Kandil

Amani Kandil is the executive director of the Arab Network for NGOs in Cairo, Eygpt. She has worked as a consultant for the Follow-up Committee for Arab NGOs in Cairo, as an expert on public policies and public opinion at the National Center for Social Criminological Research (NCSCR), as a lecturer at Cairo University, and as a local associate in the International Comparative Project of Non-Profit Sector at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Kandil was formerly a political writer and was involved with Egyptian Radio as an announcer and producer. She is a board member of CIVICUS, and The National Council for Women, among many others. Dr. Kandil earned her doctorate in political science from Cairo University in Egypt.
