Alyssa Cosentino

Alyssa Cosentino is an executive administrative assistant for her family-run home healthcare business in Nevada, USA. Currently, she is enrolled as an MFA graduate student at Boston's Emerson College, in the Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing program. She is an aspiring writer and currently working on two stories. Alyssa has volunteered as a tutor, mentor, editor, and has experience caring for children with special needs. She is interested in human rights, genuine human connection, arts and culture, and how those concepts can interact with one another to create impactful and long-lasting media. Before entering the M.F.A. program, Alyssa earned her B.A. in Creative Writing and Religious Studies, while minoring in Sociology and Women's Studies, at Winston-Salem's Salem College.
