Alicia Quirós Mudd is director of the conservancy Patronato del Parque Rufino y Olga Tamayo. She has been leading the organization efforts to preserve and improve the Rufino Tamayo Park in the northern city of San Pedro Garza Garcia in Mexico. She serves as liaison with different government agencies to ensure the conservation of the park. Under her leadership, the park is underway to receive public and private funding to continue with restoration projects and has accomplished a strong participation of the community to transform the park into a vibrant public space. Alicia has collaborated with Parques de Mexico working with local governments and communities to transform public spaces trough participatory design. She is founding partner of MOMOV, an engineering firm committed to enhancing active transportation. Alicia has a master´s degree in Project Management from Universidad Universidad Ibero Monterrey in Mexico, with postgraduate studies in Total Quality Management from Japan International Cooperation Agency in Japan.
