Alexander Kainer is principal on the management team at Ronald Berger in Vienna, an organization he joined in 2001. In this role, he is working on expanding the power supplier business in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe by focusing on traditional issues of strategic realignment and reorganization, but also looking ahead to electromobility, renewable energy and smart grids. The international energy business has been Mr. Kainer's area of special concern since the beginning of his career, when he spent time in England examining acquisition strategies of European power suppliers in the context of liberalization. Later in his career, he specialized in strategy development, reorganization and restructuring. Today, some of Mr. Kainer's clients include providers and waste management companies, as well as mechanical engineering and industrial plant engineering companies. Mr. Kainer graduated from Vienna University of Technology.
