Alexander Kadow is a senior economist at Deutsche Bundesbank. He joined the Bundesbank in 2011 as economist in the Directorate General Economics. His main areas of expertise are in international economics and monetary policy. Alexander has been an active member of a Eurosystem Task Force analysing the potential economic impact of Brexit. He recently moved to the Strategic Office in the Directorate General Cash Management with particular focus on writing speeches and investigating the economic implications of cash. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Glasgow, UK.
