Akshita Maity

Akshita Maity has completed her first-year of design at BITS Design School, Mumbai. She is interested in cinema, graphic design, behavioral patterns, and the relationship between visuals and the ways people think, feel, and behave. She is drawn to the emotional power of images and stories. Akshita explores how visual communication can express ideas that words sometimes cannot. She enjoys painting, sports, and film, and sees art as central to both her practice and her sense of self. She cannot wait to meet everyone, learn, and contribute to the conversations at the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change.
