Adrienne Finlay

Adrienne Finaly is a communications major at Nevada State University, with minors in Sociology and Social Justice. Her interests center on inequality, advocacy, and access, while also extending to the preservation of history, storytelling, and the role of media in shaping how we understand the world. Her personal experiences, including growing up in foster care and navigating different environments, have shaped my perspective and drive my passion for amplifying underrepresented voices. She values meaningful conversations and spaces where people feel seen, heard, and understood. She is interested in how communication and media can be used to share stories, challenge dominant narratives, and create social impact. She hopes to continue her education and create a resource and learning center that supports underserved communities. Outside of academics, she enjoys connecting with others, exploring new places and perspectives, and finding meaning in everyday moments.
