Dea Safira is a communications specialist and licensed dentist from Jakarta. She honed her advocacy skills during an internship at UN Women Asia Pacific, Women's Economic Empowerment team which focuses on the care economy and women's empowerment principles. She has powerfully championed women's rights through the Indonesia Feminis platform with more than 100k followers on Instagram, including authoring two books in Indonesian on Pop Culture Feminism and Women's Sexuality. Her activism also involves in building discussion groups and spaces where women are invited to imagine politics for women and beyond. She has also built her communications portfolio in AI by working with multiple stakeholders from private to government. She holds a degree in Bachelor of Dentistry and is a certified Indonesian dentist, a master in international relations and a master in communications from various universities in Indonesia.
