Usman Iqbal is an assistant professor and digital health consultant at Taipei Medical University. He is also the editor of international journals and contributed to editorials, research papers and book chapters on the session topic. Usman is interested in the applications of health information technology for patient safety and works on several international projects focus with regards to global health informatics in order to improve the quality of care. Usman is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Informatics and of Health Service Management and of the Royal Society of Public Health. He is also a member of the Health Informatics Society of Australia. Usman received a Pharm.D. degree from Pakistan, an M.B.A. in healthcare administration and a Ph.D. in health informatics from Taipei Medical University.
