Dr Lisa Hirschhorn is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of Implementation and Improvement Science at the Ariadne Labs, a health systems innovation partnership between Harvard School of Public health and Brigham and Women's hospital. Previously Dr Hirschhorn served as the Director of HIV Services at Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury and Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality for Partners In Health in Boston. Trained as a primary care and Infectious Disease physician and a public health researcher, she has worked to measure and improve quality of care for underserved populations for over 25 years. She has worked in implementation and improvement science to identify and spread effective approaches to measure and improve the quality and delivery of services in HIV, maternal and child health, primary care and chronic diseases globally. She has published widely and has served as an advisor for a number of national and international organizations.
