Katie O'Connor is a public health analyst for the Data and Quality Branch at Health Resource Service Administration (HRSA). Katie is a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service and has served the U.S. Government in both global and domestic outbreak control. Her current role at HRSA is to oversee interventions that advance the quality of HIV clinical services in PEPFAR-supported countries and build the capacity of host country health systems to improve the effectiveness of their services. Prior to joining HRSA, Katie worked for CDC from 2010-2015, the last two years detailed to the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator at the State Department. Katie was a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer and Preventative Medicine Fellow. Katie has worked in epidemiology, quality improvement, program evaluation and policy development. She has a BSN from Villanova University and a MPH from Drexel University.
