Amel Farrag is a senior quality consultant Ministry of Health and Population Egypt. She is a physician holding Master Degree in Dermatology Cairo University, Studying MBA at Edinburgh Business School, and certified as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Florida Atlantic University. During her career she has accumulated a variety of experiences. Amel was Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement instructor for Healthcare Reform Diploma at American University Cairo. As a member of National Governance Task Force she is interested in clinical governance and quality measures. She participated in establishing Egyptian healthcare accreditation standards. She is volunteer reviewer with ASQ for Quality Healthcare Body of Knowledge Content Development.
